The Platform
MedpeR® is a standalone medication dispenser (Pill Organizer) — it alerts, detects, and reminds without needing anything else. The platform below adds a layer on top of it: a patient or family member can see their own adherence, and a facility can track it across every enrolled resident.
Platform Capabilities
Each capability addresses a specific failure point in the medication-taking process — from the moment a dose is scheduled to the moment a clinician reviews the record.
Dose times and compartment assignments are configured through the companion app. Each prescription maps to a specific compartment, reducing the cognitive load on elderly patients and enabling a caregiver to prepare days in advance.
At every scheduled dose time, MedpeR® produces a clear audible alert. Designed for patients with hearing difficulties or limited dexterity, the reminder removes dependence on memory — the most common cause of unintentional non-adherence.
When a compartment is not opened within the alert window, the system classifies the dose as missed and immediately dispatches notifications to all linked devices — no polling, no manual checking. Escalation alerts follow if the dose remains missed beyond a configurable threshold.
Family members, home nurses, and ward staff receive push notifications when a dose is missed. Multiple caregivers can be linked to a single device, ensuring that someone is always informed — whether the patient lives alone or in a care facility.
Every dose event is timestamped and retained. At each follow-up, the treating physician receives an objective adherence record covering the full interval — taken, missed, and late doses. This replaces patient self-reporting, which is known to overestimate adherence by 20–30%.
The MedpeR® Network view gives ward staff and administrators a real-time overview of every enrolled patient — current dose status, active alerts, and adherence trends — without needing to visit each patient individually or rely on self-reported information.

Live Platform Access
MedpeR® is not just a device — it's a clinical data platform. Every user sees the information that is relevant to their role: patients see their own schedule and history, families see real-time alerts, clinicians see objective records, and facilities see population-level adherence.
What the patient sees
The patient-facing dashboard shows the current day's dose schedule, the status of each dose (taken, pending, or missed), and a weekly and monthly adherence summary. Patients can review their own history and share it directly with their physician.
What the family caregiver sees
Family members and home caregivers receive push notifications the moment a dose is missed, allowing them to intervene promptly — even from a different city. The caregiver app provides a live view of dose status without requiring the patient to report anything.
What the clinician sees
At every follow-up, the treating physician can access a complete, timestamped adherence record for the interval since the last consultation. This removes the need to rely on patient recall, and provides an evidence base for adjusting treatment when adherence is poor.
What the facility administrator sees
The MedpeR® Network dashboard gives ward administrators a single view across every enrolled patient — active alerts, adherence rates, and at-risk individuals. Administrators can triage missed doses by urgency and export population-level adherence data for quality reporting.
