MedpeR® is designed so that once it's set up, adherence takes care of itself. Here's the full journey — from what's in the box, to how a dose is detected, to what your physician or facility administrator ultimately sees.
Step 01 · Getting Started
Every MedpeR® order — whether for home or as part of a facility deployment — arrives ready to set up. Home orders are placed directly via WhatsApp for a personal, guided experience; institutional orders are provisioned as part of a bulk deployment, with each device linked to a patient record and ward staff assigned as caregivers from day one.
Step 02 · Setting Up
MedpeR® supports up to 9 compartments, 8 of which can be mapped to a specific medication and dose schedule. Dose times and compartments are configured through the companion app — most families are up and running in under 15 minutes, with no technical knowledge required. Keeping the device connected syncs dose events to the cloud in real time, so caregivers and clinicians see accurate, up-to-date records.
Step 03 · Using MedpeR®
At the scheduled dose time, MedpeR® sounds an audible alert designed to be clearly noticeable — even for patients with mild hearing loss. When a compartment is opened, the event is timestamped and confirmed. If it isn't opened within the alert window, the dose is classified as missed and every linked caregiver — family members, a home nurse, or ward staff — is notified instantly. If it remains missed beyond a configurable threshold, an escalation alert follows. Multiple caregivers can link to a single device, so responsibility never rests on one person being available.
Step 04 · Ongoing Support
Every dose event — taken, missed, or late — is timestamped and synced to the cloud, giving physicians a complete, objective adherence record at every follow-up instead of relying on patient recall. For facilities, the MedpeR® Network dashboard gives administrators a single view across every enrolled patient, with missed-dose alerts sorted by severity and exportable data for quality and regulatory reporting. Records remain accessible from any device and are retained offline if connectivity drops.
